题目：The Road to International Currency: Global Perspective and Chinese Experience

Abstract: This paper studies the international currency use in financial transaction, with SWIFT dataset from 2011 to 2013. A currency becomes international when used outside of its issuing country, and advances to international vehicle currency if used among nonresidents. We estimate a gravity model to explain the geographical distribution of international currency use. For major currency, higher level of integration and stable macroeconomic environment increase its international use.

主讲人简介：

王孝松，1983年，经济学博士、教授、博士生导师，中国人民大学经济学院，国家社科基金重大项目首席专家；美国University of California, Davis访问学者。研究领域为国际贸易理论与政策，目前在China Economic Review、《中国社会科学》、《经济研究》和《管理世界》等刊物上发表学术论文70余篇。获省部级科研奖励7次，主持国家社会科学基金重大项目1项，国家自然科学基金项目3项、北京市科研项目3项；担任国家自然科学基金通讯评委。
